Harrogate Spring Flower Show or Shopper, 8.00am Pick Up

Visit Britain's largest and most beautiful flower show. The show gives florists and flower arrangers, as well as daffodil, tulip and alpine garden enthusiasts a platform to stage their own spectacular show-within-a-show. Over 100 of the UK’s top horticultural nurseries will be staging major exhibits, competing for medal awards, selling plants and offering advice.

Prices for coach only - entrance fee for flower show is extra.

Holy Island and Northumberland Coastal Drive, 7.15am Pick Up

A scenic excursion visiting the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.   Sample the Lindisfarne mead and the local delicious crab sandwiches!  Popular places to visit are Lindisfarne Castle, the Priory where St Cuthbert was Bishop and the Lindisfarne Gospels were created, and the heritage centre where the “Turning the Pages” exhibit allows visitors to see an electronic version of the famous gospels.  The stunning scenery of the Northumberland dramatic coastline is well worth seeing, passing Bamburgh Castle and with a stop at Seahouses which overlooks the Farne Islands.

Cragside House and Gardens, 7.30am Pick Up

A must for the Victorian enthusiast and a day out for all the family. Lord Armstrong developed the 900acre Cragside estate, planting seven million rhododendrons and azaleas which should be in full bloom at the time of our visit. The Victorian house has over 30 rooms open and provides a fascinating insight into the period. Discover all about Lord Armstrong’s amazing life, ingenious gadgets, incredible inventions, tall trees, huge rocks, tumbling streams, exotic plants and miles of woodland walks. With an adventure play area and a labyrinth, Cragside has it all.

Coronation Street - "The Tour" 7.15am Pick Up

The Coronation Street cobbles at the soap’s former home at the quay street site in Manchester opened to the public in Spring 2014 for a limited period, permission has been granted to open for an extra season.  This behind the scenes guided tour is based around the actual sets and props used in the filming over the last 54 years. Visitors will be able to hear stories and fascinating facts about the making of the world famous soap opera, as well as walk down the hallowed cobbles and have a picture taken in front of the Rovers Return.  We then travel to Salford Quays for the afternoon where you can enjoy world class entertainment, leisure and cultural facilities

South Tynedale Railway and Hexham, 8.00am Pick Up

Come and join us and take a leisurely ride on the South Tynedale Railway through the glorious scenery of the North Pennines area of outstanding natural beauty!  The South Tynedale Railway is the north of England’s highest narrow gauge railway winding northwards from its home at Alston in Cumbria for 3½ miles into Northumberland and the current terminus at Lintley Halt, following the route of the former Alston to Haltwhistle branch line which officially closed on 1st may 1976.
We then travel to Hexham a prosperous town south of the River Tyne, just a few miles south of Hadrian’s Wall, be captivated by its stunning backdrop, a medieval abbey set in pretty parks, by the River Tyne.
Hexham is a charming market town characterised by its stone architecture, cobbled streets and historic buildings. Combine this with a blend of boutiques, high street favourites and regular outdoor markets offering you a unique experience a warm welcome awaits you in our many quirky coffee shops and award-winning restaurants.

Our route takes us for a morning break in the historic market town of Barnard Castle.  Continuing via Stainmore summit to Kirkby Stephen.  Outstanding scenery as our journey continues through Sedbergh running through Garsdale to Hawes where we enjoy our afternoon stop.  Explore this wonderful Wensleydale Village and maybe sample local fayre at the famous cheese factory, prior to returning home via picturesque Wensleydale villages.
